These informative courses are highly recommended for emerging farmers, extension officers, supervisors and trainee farmers/farm managers as they provide a very good basic general knowledge of what has to be done, why it has to be done and when it has to be done. Visual and practical assignments are emphasised. As well as formal lectures, there are visits, where applicable, to the KZNPI farm where procedures are demonstrated. The team of facilitators is highly trained and experienced.
